All For Show

Hi hello,
Like I said yesterday if the weather was good, I would be venturing into town again for the American Custom car show, I managed to get quite a few photos (172...) so I have tried to narrow it down and only put my favourites on here!

This is my favourite part of the Worthing Lions Festival, it happens every year, the weather was lovely today so the town was absolutely heaving, I took Lancelot and he nearly got squished a few times!

Walking with the dog means that I get stopped by so many people asking to pet him and say hello, a few funny reactions from people include screaming for their other halves to come and see then listing reasons why they need a pug and children being so excited their parents have to pull them away!
Lancelot loves the attention so it's all good to him.

Do you have a favourite car?

Thanks for reading as always,
Hannah :) xo

So, Pinterest?

Hey hi hello,
Something I wanted to chat about is Pinterest, now I know a lot of people use it, and most of the people I follow on instagram use it so I guess it's just another place to stalk their creative minds.

I wanted to share my boards, I haven't had it long but I enjoy searching for pretty images and filing them away in their respective pin boards, it's a great way to find recipes or just some inspiration for whatever you need, desk organisation, plant storage, even DIY hacks.

These are some snap shots of a few of my boards and the pins together, I like to think that everything is nicely organised, I do try my best!
I pop over to the colour inspo board when I'm stuck for a pallet when I draw, I like to use them as swatches.

The animals are used as references when I draw them for my cards, which I sell over on my Etsy shop, you may have noticed as well that there are new links up top, they will take you directly to the pages! How fancy is that.

My pinterest link is up there too if you want to have a more detailed look through my boards.

Thanks for reading as always,
Hannah :) xo

Equal Access

Hey hi hello,
If you've read my blog before, a few posts ago I talked about what's going on with my back and that sometimes I use a wheelchair to get about.
This is just a pre-post if you like, to a bigger post that's coming, I'm working on more photos and going to more shops to point out accessibility issues and how the staff solve problems if any come up.

A Day Out

Hey hi hello,
The lady and I went into town this week and she took her camera so I've acquired some photos to pop up a post about our day, I'm actually in front of the camera for this one, I know what a shocker!

A quick Lancelot update, he is 6.5 months now, still chewing everything!
His favourite flavour is chicken and my socks, he ha a very special talent of running after a ball to catch it, but he just touches it then runs straight back.
He also loves sleeping on the bed with us at night, and is about 94% house trained.

We have been taking him to puppy classes to learn the right way to do things and some other things to teach him, currently he is learning to lay down, and in this weeks session he won a prize for the best sit!
Obviously a very proud dog mother over here.

M'lady caught me looking at some pretty things in the arcade, we then just wandered around town, ticking off things from our to do list and then catching the bus home.

Pretty normal day but it's nice to document them.

Thanks for reading as always,
Hannah :) xo

Roots To Growth

Hey hi hello,

With the young adult carer group I'm apart of, My Future Group, we had an outing this month to a place called Roots For Growth.

On their website, which I have linked above if you fancy a look, they say;

''Roots to Growth is a 6 acre working market garden community project. It is a sanctuary, a safe space, a community, a place of growth, inspiration and transformation.''

It's a great place to be outside and know you're helping out with something worthwhile, you get a sense of achievement when you see the hard work put you've put in.

I think my blog is turning into more of a place to document photos with minimal text about what the photos are, feedback would be really helpful, are you enjoying photo heavy posts or do you prefer more reading?

There was a white board in the main hut, I really liked this little message.
On the way to the compost bathroom you had to pass under this handmade trellis.
I spotted a little fly going about his day.
This is the main hut, somewhere to sit in the shade and make a cuppa.
The lunch menu! Made from things we harvested from the vegetable patches.
This was the pesto pasta with courgettes and beans, it tasted really good until I realised the pesto had dairy!
Very smart.
There was a seating area outside around a pit fire.
Matt planting some kale.
That's a rather large rooster!
This is the resident dog, Echo.
Some of the eggs collected from the chicken coop.
They made raised beds for the new veg.
Very excited about their harvest!
Some tomatoes in the poly tunnel, not quite ready.
This rhubarb was a monster!
I think this is purple kohlrabi, either way it looks cool.

Again thank you for reading, like I said, any feedback would be much appreciated.
If you want any more information about Roots To Growth, here's the link again -

Thanks,
Hannah :) xo
